Los Angeles joins the list of its launch cities: Charleston, WV, Atlanta, Nashville, & Malibu
Charleston, WV: Inspired by travel, moved by the journey. Geotees takes its brand to Los Angeles with passion. Geotees is NOT your everyday, run of the mill t-shirt. The company brings unique city features including: customized retail box packaging, special offers from area businesses, a quality t-shirt marked by city, and an illustration of iconic places. Shirts are available currently in two colors – both gray and black with more colors to follow. The classic tee, our original tee, has a true-to-size fit with extra sleeve length, generous body length, and a sewn geotees icon at the bottom seam.
David Miller, founder of geotees, had inspiration for launching in Los Angeles based on the city’s rich celebrity and music tradition. The city is one of the most nostalgic in the US, and it is full of iconic places to visit. “California is special to me and Los Angeles is my favorite city to visit” Miller describes. “Los Angeles was a simple choice for our next launch.” “I have a love for 80’s hair metal bands, and Los Angeles was a launching pad of some of my all-time favorite bands.” Geotees includes a top notch and visual graphic illustration with each city. The illustration is designed with hours of research of a city, and Los Angeles was one of the most challenging with all the great places to visit and with its rich celebrity history. “I’m a movie buff as well, and I wanted to make sure to include not only some of the most iconic music venues across the city in this illustration, but I wanted to showcase a Walk of Fame™ dedication as well.” Miller describes.
Geotees stands for “Geography Tees”, and the company believes it is out in front of this changing, hyper-competitive industry. The company is doing things completely different from consumer facing, to brand customization, to experience and location branding throughout multiple phases.
